Created 20+ new pages and redesigned for platforms using Figma and Adobe Creative Suite, resulting in a +110% revenue increase.

Presented clients with UX ideas, sketches, drafts, and website layouts, influencing investment decisions, resulting in Propster raising the next round of 13.8M in A2 investments.

Led the company’s design from 0 to 1, achieving a market valuation of $50M.

PROPSTER Platform

The problem

The problem was that older people (this is our target audience, as studies show that older people are the most frequent users of the platform and the primary buyers of apartments in Europe) had a problem using our product: they did not understand how to use and manage the platform, they could not use some functions, thus they used the product incompletely and simply did not reach some features. The information was presented in a way that did not convey the use of the product well.

Therefore, the decision was made to improve UX. Also colors, fonts and marketing techniques needed to be updated.

Challenge

One of the main challenges in PROPSTER was ensuring a seamless and intuitive experience for a diverse audience, particularly older users who are the primary buyers of apartments in Europe.
The platform needed to accommodate users with varying levels of tech-savviness while maintaining a modern and scalable design.

I have conducted 7 interview sessions with users in a critical age group 40-60yo (2 internal employees and 5 external volunteers) to gain insights on existing flow of the platform.
Our CEO helped to share survey in Google form across his contacts.
We have create a feedback form on a Propster platform that allowed user to submit their pain points.

Insight
While I see that sales and success rate remain quite high for clients in a first 3 age groups, this users represent in total only 25% of the all sales, while majority of the sales proceed from 40+ age group, despite lower success rate. This data clearly represent a missing opportunity for the Propster businesses and a potential for higher earnings impact.
The platform is confusing and hard to navigate. Customization options are difficult to find, making the experience frustrating. A more user-friendly design would help a lot!
The UI is frustrating to use—switch buttons are too small and hard to tap, and navigating through products feels clunky. Needs better responsiveness and smoother interactions!

How I need to redesign product selection section on a Propster platform to enhance usage and increase renovation submition ratio for 40+ age group users?
Finding
The product selection button was hard to tap, making it inaccessible for older users who struggled to navigate with a mouse.
An alternative way to navigate was horizontal scrolling using the Trackpad itself, which older users struggled to understand and interact with.
Solution
By using Accordion approach, I was able to guide critical age group of the platform users in a more familiar way, utilizing more mouse clicks over unfamiliar horizontal scrolling, allowing to drive higher retention.

In PROPSTER, consistency was key to ensuring a seamless user journey across all touchpoints. I established a unified design system that maintained visual and functional coherence throughout the platform.

Accessible

Accessibility played a crucial role in making the platform user-friendly for a diverse audience, including older users who are the primary buyers. I focused on readable typography, high-contrast elements, and intuitive navigation to enhance usability.

Clear

To keep the experience clear, I simplified complex workflows, refined the UI to reduce cognitive load, and ensured that every interaction was intuitive and straightforward. These principles helped create a platform that is not only visually appealing but also highly functional and user-centric.

Research

I interviewed product, marketing, and development executives to understand each part of the company's unique requirements and redesign challenges.

Numerous user surveys were conducted throughout the product's life cycle.
As a result, a large base of feedback was collected: pains, values and goals when using our product.

I developed a structured site map for Propster to improve navigation clarity and ensure a seamless user flow across the platform.

I redesigned the platform and created a design system from scratch, it includes new design rules, colors, icons, documentation, different states of buttons, forms, a style guide, a detailed description of the purpose and operation of each component: input fields, links, checkboxes, and so on.

I redesigned the main website, which led to a 15% increase in revenue.
For this website, I created various illustrations and contributed to the visual design to enhance user engagement.

Desktop Prototype/Marketplace

This low-quality prototype created in Figma connects 25 wireframes in a user flow to enter the marketplace.

This wireframe contains clickable links that allow the user to navigate back and forth through the sequence, and built-in hints for user navigation are clearly marked.

What have I learned in Propster?

In Propster project I learned how to work and communicated with a cross-functional team, work at the same time on a several different projects at the same time: I did redesign of the Propster platform, Company Dashboard, Marketplace and Propster’s website, it was pretty tough to work on multiple projects with a strict deadline for me, but experience I gained during this time was extremely valuable for me in a future and helped to manage time and my work properly.
